In her role as Client Services Manager, Jennie is always looking at ways to improve the journey we take buyers and sellers on every day and is dedicated to delivering the highest quality service. Jennie has consistently exceeded client expectations within a variety of roles through her years at Bonaccorde with her “no job is too hard” attitude.

Have you always been in real estate? If no, what’s your background?

I began my career in Hospitality, Customer Services initially and then Executive Administration. I’ve worked across many industries in various states including Advertising, Information Technology, Banking, Retail, Pharmacy Wholesaling and are I’m now settled in Real Estate.

Why real estate? I fell into it really…as a family we made a lifestyle move and relocated to Mount Martha. The rest is history!

What does a typical day at work involve for you at Bonaccorde? My day is all about ensuring our clients (both internal and external) needs are met. From meeting with Amanda our Director, updating our clients’ requirements and continuing with all daily tasks associated with their properties.

What has been the most memorable achievement in your career to date? In the mid 90’s whilst working in hospitality, I worked closely with an external Public Relations company to relaunch a famous hotel that had endured a major renovation and name change. Located in the glitzy part of the Gold Coast, it was fun times and we worked tirelessly for it all to come together – the result was awesome!!

What are you looking forward to? Continuing to enjoy life to the fullest, having great family holidays (while the children are still keen to holiday with us), maintaining a fit and healthy lifestyle and working on new furnishings for our recently purchased home.

What are five things you couldn’t live without? My husband Guy, who’s been a constant in my life (30yrs), my children and Buddy my dog. My Apple iWatch (it keeps me on track with everything!) and good health.

What are some of Peninsula’s best kept secrets? Definitely the wineries, there are too many great ones to list. The various walking tracks in and around Mount Martha, particularly the track on the Esplanade to Mornington. The Briars, there’s something for everybody – Café, walking tracks, fauna, picnic facilities – a great spot for group catch ups…

Do you have a secret talent? If so what is it? Believe it or not I can sew, not that I get time to these days, however I’m good at mending – especially the school uniforms!!

Your top 3 favourite shops for homewares/gifts? Tingo, Mount Martha | Zen, Mornington | Zuri, Mt Eliza

What/Where was the last great meal you ate? Ten Minutes by Tractor, Red Hill – the menu is to die for and that wine list….

What is your dream destination and why? It was New York and we travelled there as a family in 2017. I’d love to go back!! 

Who was your first rock concert? Midnight Oil at the Phillip Island Motor Racetrack, what a hoot!

What do you love most about Bonaccorde… The entire team are like an extension of my family. They’re a great bunch of people who are focused on the job at hand. The banter amongst the team is fluent when time permits and we all love nothing more than to celebrate our successes.
